Dr. Gerry McCann is a Liar

Dr. Gerry McCann’s statement to PJ on May 10th, 2007:
“----- Pertaining to the routine, on Tuesday there was a slight change given that after lunch, at 13h30, he and KATE decided to take the three children to Paris da Luz, having gone on foot, taking only the twins in baby carriages. They all left by the main door due to the carriages, went around to the right, down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead.”

Let me clarify right away, as plainly as possible, what is the objective of this post. It’s to demonstrate that either there wasn’t a beach trip at all, which means that Dr. Gerry McCann is a LIAR, or there was, and that clearly means that Dr. Gerry McCann is a LIAR.

Firstly we have to clarify where the Baptista Supermarket is.

As you can see, by the picture below, it’s situated between the Rua Joaquim Teixeira, to where the entrance faces, and Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins, the same that where the Ocean Club’s entrance to Tapas Bar also is:

Coming from the Apartment 5A, the natural route to the Baptista Supermarket entrance is, as pictured below, marked red.

But, I’m assuming that when Gerry McCann says “down the street of the supermarket”, is as marked in purple. This, as we will later see, I’ll allow for different interpretations, but for now, purple it is:

So when, our good doctor states “They all left by the main door due to the carriages, went around to the right, down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead” we have a problem.

There is no road directly ahead:

Only this would be enough for me to say that Gerry is lying. But I won’t.

Yes, I’m already hearing you saying that I’m being too picky and that when he says “road directly ahead” he obviously means linking Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins with Rua da Boa Pesca and directy to the beach. As per following route:

But, did he REALLY mean that?

Because if he did then it’s proved that he’s a LIAR, as I’ll show in a jiffy. And he did say it, didn’t he?

And I’ll prove why that makes him a LIAR but will do so the way I like it: by consubstantiating ALL my statements.

Nice and slow, the way many don’t like. Or wish I did it differently.

So, Black Hats, do use this time to come up with an alternative answer to this screw-up.

And, even if I say so myself, one major screw-up indeed.

While they are convening and scheming, let us continue.

Dr. McCann describes, on May 10th, the routine of taking Maddie to and from the crèche by the following: "-----The twins stayed at the creche next to the TAPAS, which was for children of two years of age, and then he and KATE took MADELEINE to the other creche for older children situated on the 1st floor at the main reception of the resort, arriving there at 09h50. Besides MADELEINE, only E***, daughter of JANE and RUSSELL went to the same creche. The remaining children being very young stayed at the creche next to the TAPAS.
----- Again she went on foot, leaving the secondary reception she turned right, went down the street passing the supermarket, turning left passing the main reception. After putting the children in their creches they went to the supermarket where they bought [things] for lunch and breakfast.
----- From memory, on Tuesday, 1 May 2007, being shown by RUSSELL, he went to pick up MADELEINE at creche using a short-cut that began at the car park opposite the secondary reception and went between the buildings, which he used to fetch and carry his daughter."

So, we have the description of two routes, in blue, the initial one, and in yellow, the short-cut, taught by Russell, and that became the most used one. Perfectly acceptable and natural:

Let’s now look at the perspective one has of the Rua da Boa Pesca, in purple, from the yellow route, the one, we’ve all agreed, including Gerry, that it was the most used to take and bring Maddie
:

From (1), you can barely see the referred street, but you perceive where the Rua da Boa Pesca starts, going towards the beach, and that is confirmed at (2) especially when you're on your way back to the apartment.

I find it perfectly understandable that Dr. McCann refers to the Rua da Boa Pesca as “directly ahead”. But its important to understand why I think this way.

When standing in (1) if you draw four parallel lines, according to your perception of space, in the following manner:

(a) Passing on the general direction of Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins;

(b) Passing on the point where Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins curves, and connects with Rua Direita, marked as (X);

(c) Passing on the point where the Rua da Boa Pesca connects with Rua Direita, marked as (Y);

(d) Passing on the point where you are (1).

It is, in my view, completely natural, due to human misperception, to shorten the distance (X) – (Y), thus have the perception that Rua da Boa Pesca is directly ahead Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins.

Also, if you standing in (2), not able to see the final curve of Rua Dr. Francisco Gentil Martins:

It is, again, natural, and pardon the repetition, to have the perception that Rua da Boa Pesca is directly ahead Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins.

So, I hope we’re all, Black & White Hats alike, in agreement that when Dr. Gerald McCann says “down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead” he really meant “down Rua Dr Francisco Gentil Martins and went to the beach along Rua da Boa Pesca”.

I understand that at this point you’re wondering about my mental sanity for having gone into such needless and exhaustive explanation about such a minor, and OBVIOUS, detail.

After all, the man and his family did walk that path and just made a slight, understandable, imprecision in the description of the route, because if had said instead, “…continued South toward the beach”, things would be perfectly clear, wouldn’t they?

Aren’t I just blowing the whole thing completely out of proportion? No. I’m not.

Because nor that man, nor his family EVER walked that path.

NEVER, EVER did the McCann family, go to the beach “down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead”, as stated by the deponent.

He is LYING.

Can I prove it? Yes, I can. And I will.

But it was important that YOU understood CLEARLY that his “directly ahead” is based EXCLUSIVELY ON PERCEPTION of the linkage of the two streets, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE.

Also that it’s quite clear that if you’re coming from Apartment 5A, down Rua Dr. Francisco Gentil Martins, that the general direction to the beach is as shown, and NO OTHER:

So, I’ve gone into a considerable effort of explaining how it’s understandable and natural to have the PERCEPTION that Rua da Boa Pesca is directly ahead Rua Dr. Francisco Gentil Martins (yes, I’ll repeat myself as mine times as I seem fit to do so…).

Let me now show you why I say that Gerry based his statement solely on PERCEPTION, which, in turn, proves that he didn’t set foot, not even once in his life, in Rua da Boa Pesca.

At this point, I feel like suggesting to the gentleman, that, JUST to contradict me, that he book yet another one of his famous self-marketing trips, but this time have himself pictured standing in the middle of Rua da Boa Pesca. Then, call in some subservient TV station (so many to choose from...) and with that known arrogant stupid smile of his, will be able to say “it's all an evil lie the statement that I'll never be, once in my life, on THIS street, and I remind you that there’s absolutely no evidence that any harm has come to... whatshername… and that there's a little girl still missing. Please do help us find her by contributing...”.

But let's go back to proving that the lying of the scum... When I was looking at the PJ files something odd called my attention, not because of implausibility but of it’s apparent complexity: the photographic coverage of the path from the crèche to the beach, as shown below:

As you can see, these sixteen photographs showed quite an intricate route, to what I thought would be a simple walk from the crèche to the beach. This was the route chosen by people that work in the town, so should know better than anybody which was the shortest way:

Above are the locations from where pictures #4 to #15 were taken. Apparently complex route but in reality, and as expected, the shortest and simplest path to take from the crèche to the beach:

But what I found interesting was the sequence from pictures #7, 8 and #9: Rua da Boa Pesca DOES NOT link with Rua do Poço.

I, like Gerry McCann, have never been in that street, and am relying on the veracity of the images below. I take them as very reliable, but, as always, I’m willing to be corrected if that be the case. But, until proven otherwise, I assume that the geographical reality of Rua da Boa Pesca/Rua do Poço is as follows:

As can easily be seen, the beach CANNOT be accessed by Rua da Boa Pesca.

It’s a DEAD END.

But from Rua Direita, or from the yellow path to and from creche, this important detail CANNOT be seen.

From both, to a foreigner to the area, it seems that the street does lead to the beach. Only, it doesn't. Certainly, Rua da Boa Pesca is NOT a street by which one goes to the beach “along”:

This proves, without ANY doubt, that Gerry McCann is LYING when he says “They all left by the main door due to the carriages, went around to the right, down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead”.

Black Hat team, what say you?

I think I've given you enough time to prepare yourselves…

Ah, you say that it only proves that he didn’t go by the THAT road, and DOES NOT prove that the family didn’t go to the beach… and he, Gerry McCann, could’ve just meant with his “directly ahead”, having turned right, at the end of the Rua Dr. Francisco Gentil Martins, and “directly ahead” along Rua Direita, went on his jolly way with the family to the beach:

Now, that sounds a bit like desperate argumentation, but I’ll go along with that, as I want to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Gerry McCann is what he is, a LIAR. So, I’m supposing you’re referring to the red route below, right?

Please don’t say it’s the purple, because that is ludicrous as Clarence Mitchell himself, as it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for a path that goes “along towards the beach”, because it doesn’t.

Much less for someone who has complained about the distance from Tapas to the Millenium Restaurant

And please, please, don’t even attempt saying they used the “crèche path”…

Now, I’m going to surprise you.

I’m going to help you out. I’m going to tell you what, in my humble opinion, is the best path from Apartment 5A to the beach, and that fits, if you’re willing to stretch it quite a bit, with the “down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead”:

You agree with me? Good. Now tell me, how can someone that has passed by a church, the only one in PdL, less than 50 metres away, has the audacity to ask for one two days later?

Well, Black Hats, we’re at the end of the road here.

Can you come up with ANY OTHER route that conforms to “down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead”?

No? Then, together, these two statements, written down in Official Documents, the PJ Files, PROVE, without any shadow of a doubt, that Dr. Gerald McCann LIED to the local police authorities, in either, or both, occasions:

- From the GNR Officer Rui Sergio Lopes Silva: “He only had direct contact with the couple and their friends at about 04.00 when Gerry McCann approached the GNR group of which he was a member to ask whether there was a church close by. He replied to him in English, giving the directions to a nearby church.”

- From Dr. Gerald McCann: “Pertaining to the routine, on Tuesday there was a slight change given that after lunch, at 13h30, he and KATE decided to take the three children to Paris da Luz, having gone on foot, taking only the twins in baby carriages. They all left by the main door due to the carriages, went around to the right, down the street of the supermarket and went to the beach along a road directly ahead

I think that a formal complaint for obstruction of justice, based solely on the above, against Dr. Gerry McCann can be filed.

And if Justice worked as was supposed to work, he would be called in to explain. I know that I’m being naïve, but at least I’m at peace with my mind.

Next post, I’ll explain why Gerry McCann lied about this “beach tale”.

  1. Bem ( desculpem por escrever novamente em português) ao ver no twitter a ligação para aqui....comecei a rir por causa da fotografia de paz e descanso. É que associei " aos outros". Como por cá se diz " sopas e descanso" juntamente com boa vida.

  6. Sam,

    Thank you.

But, although thankful and certainly not wanting to seem ungrateful, do tell your friend that attributing pretty little me the award, is a bit biased...

There were candidates to “Best Performance” who were real geniuses.

No, not THOSE you’re thinking of. Those, I wouldn’t cast them for a Primary School Play. Poor, poor performers.

Those that I’m referring to have never shown their faces…

But, even undeserved, it looks great on the mantelpiece!

  7. Gerry lied on purpose to confuse, he lied to cover his lies and lied for the sake of lying.

One think we do know for sure is that he was involved in the little girl's corpse vanishing.

  8. I think what the McCann defenders have to realise, this is NOT a game. Until the McCanns are fully investigated NO ONE knows what they are capable of. They lost one child and covered up their crime with very little importance as we have seen . Here, we are all watching the Mccanns but most of all we are watching the two remaining children ...who played no part in choosing the Mccanns as parents. What the Mccanns have done once they CAN do again..YOU would do well to remember this.

  9. There have been TWO comments made, one by Mccann and one by Mitchell

    Mitchell quote

The Mccanns are not responsible for Madeleines DEATH.

    McCann quote

There is NO evidence to implicate US in her DEATH.

    ------

No one EVER uses the word DEATH as a SLIP of the tongue.

  11. Please, always remember that you are dealing with a translated document. I think that when Gerry came out of 5a and turned right towards the supermarket, he did what all us Brits on our hols do - suss out where the sea is and head as directly for it as possible. With a wander around if we see something that interests us.
The basis for all these theories and 'open letters' is becoming increasingly thin.

  12. Anon 7:08,

"I think that when Gerry came out of 5a and turned right towards the supermarket, he did what all us Brits on our hols do - suss out where the sea is and head as directly for it as possible"

Just saying whatever it means whatever has happened, right?

I felt like replying with a simple "so?", but being polite with the mentally challenged, I suggest that you complete the phrase above, by explaining by where did he "suss out where the sea is and head as directly for it as possible" because that's the whole point. He didn't go by where he said he went...

Oh, you mean in a straight line, through buildings and such? Or perhaps flew right over those quaint little houses?

No, I'm not joking, with the super-natural powers of the abductor, thus a super-villain, it means that the McCann are, secretly, a family of super-heros, and all we're witnessing is a Marvel Battle of Titans...

By the way, I thought "what all us Brits on our hols do" was to unpack during almost 2 hours, listen to lectures and then head towards the furthest restaurant possible for dinner...

  13. "BABY CARRIAGES"? PARDON???

'slight change' compared to what plan? - massive contradiction as to 'baby carriages' - see statement where one says they had no prams.... it rejoins the Sagres sighting of this family by a shp keeper with a girl in a buggy , too big to fit in... on the Monday afternoon...now on the Tuesday night this is when Maddy was heard to yell for more than one hour, alone? at night, in the flat... 'she's gone'

    ReplyDelete
  14. A lot of information has been removed from the Internet but yes you are right there was a buggy...it was reported the Mccanns said it had been stolen.

Fact or forum myth? the Mccanns made sure we will now never know.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Google Earth clearly shows a gap in the wall/hedge and a few steps leading down from the eastern corner of Rua da Boa Pesca linking with Rua do Poço. It may not be particularly buggy-friendly, and there is a no through road sign at the start of Rua da Boa Pesca, but nothing to deter an arrogant sense of beach-direction entitlement of the British abroad on holiday.
